I hate to do this again, but we are going to have to drop out of the Mid Summer. We are moving into a new house, and unfortunately, 7/25 is move day. I really wish this summer would end, it has been way to stressful with all of the "have to do's"
Hopefully next year our schedules will be a little more manageable as we have only camped once this year, and it is looking like two will be the max for this year.
Mike, Deb wants to head up that way come September, so we will try an synch up with you then.
BTW, I will be canceling our reservation today, so if someone wants S-8, let me know.

Well tomorrow is powerwash day for the 5ver, then its off to mow two yards and whatever else I notice that needs to get done. I can't believe how nasty the outside of the 5ver got this year. Thankfully everything fired up and is working.
Leave for DC two weeks from tomorrow!

Looks like if we could get rigs is S2 and S5, we would have a bit of space in between all of the sites to have as a community area

A rally with a hoedown........it don't git no better than that!

When I think of Rawhide & waubeeka I think of 2 things...
1. beercan chicken
2. and watching him walk off into the fog, while in a fog after drinking some Cream sodas with Ed & I :S
We could definitely do some beer can chicken for the MSR. I haven't made that for quite awhile.
About the fog part, this time I only have to walk to S8.

S-6? Just like old times.....are you a sucker for a pull-thru site?
We are arriving on Thursday evening. Deb has "flexible Fridays" at work, so she probably won't have to go to work that Friday, I am not sure as of yet what I am doing. I will probably try to work from the campground.

I filled up my hybrid two weeks ago, odometer says I went 350 miles so far, I'm at 1/2 a tank.
Gotta love them hybrids............these days, my gas savings makes the payments

We have never dry camped since we start rving, but have talked about doing it. Used to do it when tenting, so this will be a new experience for Deb and the kids.

*Sigh* I regret that the Hanleys will not be able to be at the Spring Rally. My father passed away on Jan 16th, and we have decided to have him interned at Arlington National Cemetery. His service is going to be May 29th, so we will be unable to make the rally. We would like to make sure that we get a spot in the mid-summer rally.

thinking we should have a garbage punch on the Friday night... cuz I still have drink mixes in my frig from the last 2 rallies!! just throw them all in a punch bowl and add alckeehol
We used to do that in the Marine Corps. Saturday night, garbage can (with liner) cut up a bunch of fruit etc, and pour in the alcohol....fun for all the boyz and girlz
